Welcome to Our Sporting Events Page!
We aim to provide our children with as many opportunities as possible to engage in a range of sports, competitions and inspirational days during the school year.
If you are interested in joining a football team outside of school below are some details of local clubs that are looking for players and have spaces in teams for different abilities.
Please speak to Mr Sigley or Miss Hilton if you need information about other sporting clubs you have an interest in. We are here to help!
Dan the Skipping Man Refresher 2023
On Tuesday 28th March we excitedly welcomed Ben from ‘Dan the Skipping Man’s’ team to do a follow up workshop with all classes and teach our Reception and Y1 children the basic skipping skills. The children had a fantastic time showing off the skills they’d been practising since Dan’s last visit and were eager to learn some new skills and tricks which they will be practising at break times and lunch times to come.

Port Vale Experience 2023
Some of our pupils took up a fantastic opportunity of spending the day at Port Vale for a pre-match experience. This included a tour of the grounds, flag bearing meeting the players and playing their own little mini match all before watching the Valiants in action.
Last year we attended over 20 sporting events. We had so much fun learning new sports and skills. We plan on attending even more this year including more inter house tournaments of sports like Handball and Football.
